Ashtanga Yoga is a calm and dynamic yoga practice that combines slow movements, breath- & internal strength and energy control, for positive self-transformation.

The Ashtanga practice is designed to still the mind through a physical practice, and is divided into four major parts:
– warming up / preparing the mind
– standing postures
– seated postures
– finishing sequence

After a while of practicing, you no longer need to think while you practice, as you will learn a steady pre-set sequence. The concentration deepens and the attention can shift towards your self, and you notice how you and your body slowly starts to change.

The true power lies in the repetition of the practice, as yoga is not a one-time miracle cure for anything. Yoga typically reveals its true powers with a regular practice.

You learn a set sequence that you will be encouraged and inspired to practice a few times per week.
