Ready to build a habit?

In this 10-week program, I’ll teach you a simple, structured yoga practice that you can follow, develop and make it tailored to you. You’ll also learn how to practice independently – even at home, without having to guess what comes next.

Throughout the program, you’ll receive personal guidance, hands-on teaching and support from an experienced teacher, as we develop your own practice together.

Our main practice is on Tuesdays at 18.45 – 20.00. Then you are expected to join at least one assisted practice session per week, where you get more individual feedback and hands-on assistance from an experienced teacher.

Assisted practice – this course’s speciality

These assisted practice sessions are on: Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Choose at least one (doesn’t matter which one, you can even join all three). And yes, you can do different sessions each week according to your own schedule, and you can even join all sessions if you can.

In these classes you get individual support, and this is where you start building a habit. You join and practice what you have learned in the Tuesday classes. The teacher will help you in the practice.

Do I need any experience?

No, this course is for both complete beginners, as well as for experienced practitioners and yoga teachers alike. You will get teaching on your own level of experience.

What you have been missing is a system

Have you attended yoga classes before, but never really learned the techniques of what to do and how to breathe? Or perhaps you practiced long ago, but now feel too stiff, too old or maybe even embarrassed to return?

Then this is for you.

I’ve seen so many people get confused or lose interest in yoga because they don’t have a clear path to follow. Every class is different, and they never really learn how to practice on their own.

How this works – Meeting on Tuesdays – Schedule

One guided class per week, and up to three assisted sessions every week.

We meet 10 Tuesdays at 18.45 – 20.00 for our main sessions.

You are then expected to practice at least once a week on our assisted practice. You may choose what day to do your assisted practice:

  • Thursdays any time between 16.45–18.30
  • Saturdays any time between 08.30–10.00
  • Sundays any time between 16.30–18.00

Your assisted practice will be about 45 minute long when this program starts, and grow longer with the course.

For example, you can start at 9.00 on Saturdays. No need to be there at 8.30 sharp. Same with the other assisted practices. You can join at 17.30 on Thursdays, and you may join as early as 16.45.

No classes during the Hiihtoloma week / Winter Sports Holiday!

Tuesday Sessions

On Tuesdays we have our main class where you learn everything som scratch. Then you come and practice what you have learned either on Thursday, Saturdays or Sundays, or all three extra days!

If you already practice in the Mysore sessions, you are still welcome to join these classes if you feel like you want to refresh your memory and inspiration.

A practice you can take with you

The goal isn’t to master difficult postures in ten weeks. It’s to learn a yoga practice that makes sense to you, that you can adapt to your body, and that you can continue long after the course has ended.

Come as you are. We’ll build your practice from there.

Alexander Lemberg – E-RYT & YACEP certified since 2015

Alex is a Swedish-speaking Finn who found yoga by accident due to various health issues, and then became a certified Hatha yoga teacher in 2014.

During the summer of 2015 Alex went to an Ashtanga Yoga summer camp in Houtskari with Petri Räisänen and Juha Javanainen from Helsingin Astangajoogakoulu, and fell in love with the depths of the ashtanga yoga practice.

Since then Alex has been teaching over 6000 hours of yoga classes with a wide range of people, while managing Yogashala Raseborg in Tammisaari, and has actively been practicing with different world renowned teachers on different workshop, such as Eddie Stern, Kino McGregor, Simon Borg-Olivier, and also online courses with David Garrigues.

“To me it’s important that the practices are taught in a safe, healthy and effective way for each student. As a yoga teacher it is important to understand that all people are different, and to embrace the strengths and differences of each individual.

In my teaching style you will learn to turn your senses inward (pratyāhāra), you will improve your focus and learn to practice to the rhythm of your own breath. The meditation and concentration makes the practice meaningful, and is a gateway to your inner world.
