What you are doing isn’t working?
Maybe you’ve been thinking about starting yoga but never quite got around to it. Perhaps you used to practice regularly but lost the habit, or maybe you’ve been practicing for years, but feel like you’ve plateaued, keep repeating the same sequence, or simply aren’t enjoying your practice as much as before.
Whatever your starting point, give me three months to help you build a practice that works for you.
With a minimum of two practices a week, personal guidance, and a structured approach, we’ll work on developing a practice that you can maintain and continue to develop over time.
Personal guidance, accountability and one-on-one assessment
This isn’t just a three-month yoga pass. We start with a one-on-one assessment to understand your experience, strengths, challenges, and what you want to develop. It is also fine not to have any goals. Simply being able to enjoy the practice is a a well worthy goal. From there, we’ll build a practice that suits you.
You’ll practice at least twice a week, with personal guidance and regular follow-ups from me. I’ll help you make adjustments as you progress, work through difficulties, and maintain consistency when motivation is low.
The goal is not simply to attend more yoga classes, but to develop a practice that makes sense for you and becomes a regular part of your life.
Practice days
You can join these practices. Chose at least two (yes, you can change and switch days how you want).
Tuesdays 16.45 or 17.30
Thursdays 16.45 or 17.15
Saturdays 8.30 or 9.00
Sundays 16.30
Who is this for?
This is a great way to start practicing as a complete beginner, or a way to return to practice after some down-time, and also a great way for long-time yoga practitioners to discover a structured practice.
English
Alex teaches in English or Swedish, and a little bit in Finnish as well.
Venue
We practice in Yoga Shala Espoo in Niittykumpu.
Taivalmäki 9, 02200 Espoo
A practice you can take with you
The goal isn’t to master difficult postures in twelve weeks. We revisit the foundations and start working from the ground up, and create a yoga practice that makes sense to you.
By the end of the program, you’ll have your own sequence of yoga exercises that you understand, know how to adapt, and can continue practicing at your own pace.
Come as you are. We’ll build your practice from there.
Interested? Let’s talk.
Tell me a little about yourself and your experience with yoga. I’ll personally get back to you within a day or two to discuss your goals and whether there’s a place available.
Program price: €249 · Maximum 5 participants at a time

Yoga Students Are Saying
“I started practicing yoga online with Alex during Corona when I was forced to work from home.
To me it was very good to have scheduled activity so it was not only work 24/7. The yoga practice helped me to wind down and lift my energy levels.
Now several months later I am more flexible, have more strength and stability.
I highly appreciate that Alex have had energy to arrange his online courses during the pandemic, when I otherwise would not have had an opportunity to join a yoga class ledd with such a high skill of teaching!”
-MATHIAS
“Alex’s Ashtanga classes give me a good boost. He explains the poses clearly and keeps the vibe relaxed.
The workouts are tough enough to feel progress but never too much. I also like how he listens to us, he offers easier or harder versions of each pose and has a safe option if your knees (or anything else) need extra care.
After just over a month of practice, forward bends and vinyasas already feel easier – my hip flexors have loosened up, so everything flows a bit better.”
-KIMMO
I have had huge problems with (probably) stress-related symptoms in my body.
It has put limitations on my normal training routine. I now feel like the symtoms are slowly getting better thanks to the yoga practice.”

Alexander Lemberg – E-RYT & YACEP certified since 2015
Alex is a Swedish-speaking Finn who found yoga by accident due to various health issues, and then became a certified Hatha yoga teacher in 2015.
During the summer of 2015 Alex went to an Ashtanga Yoga summer camp in Houtskari with Petri Räisänen and Juha Javanainen from Helsingin Astangajoogakoulu, and fell in love with the depths of the ashtanga yoga practice.
Since then Alex has been teaching over 6000 hours of yoga classes with a wide range of people, while managing Yogashala Raseborg in Tammisaari, and has actively been practicing with different world renowned teachers on different workshop, such as Eddie Stern, Kino McGregor, Simon Borg-Olivier, and also online courses with David Garrigues.
“To me it’s important that the practices are taught in a safe, healthy and effective way for each student. As a yoga teacher it is important to understand that all people are different, and to embrace the strengths and differences of each individual.
In my teaching style you will learn to turn your senses inward (pratyāhāra), you will improve your focus and learn to practice to the rhythm of your own breath. The meditation and concentration makes the practice meaningful, and is a gateway to your inner world.
