
About the week
Enjoy a more calm mind in the morning hours, helping you with the yoga focus in the company of the whole group.
This is a meditative practice of Tapas (austerity) in the form of Asana (posture), which will actually leave positive imprints (saṃskāra’s) in the mind and subconscious, and make space for new experiences and new ways to view the world.
We practice Ashtanga Yoga – Mysore, where you can find both calm and strength, and observe what happens in the body and mind.
New to Mysore? That’s fine.
Complete beginners will learn short sequence to start with, and maybe practice 30-45 minutes in the mornings. Your practice will then start growing gradually and organically.
We keep the groups small, with a maximum of 4–5 people per starting time. We recommend early booking.
Who this is for
- Complete beginners (join at least 3 days)
- Or you already attend Mysore classes
- Or you have practiced Ashtanga Yoga in led classes
This is not designed as a general beginner course—but a small number of new students (2-3) can be introduced at the beginning of the week.

Start your morning practice at: 6.00, 6.30, 7.00, 7.30 or 8.00.
The class time 06-09 does not mean that you practice for 3 hours. You choose what time you want to start on the schedule. If you’re new, you can expect to practice for about 30-50 minutes in the mornings.

You can book the classes with your regular class pass, but note that the classes for this special event costs 15 yoga credits instead of 10 yoga credits as in the regular weekly classes. If you have any of our monthly memberships, you’re in luck, because all of this is included in the price 🙂 Just book the classes in our normal booking calendar.
Choose your starting time
Choose your time slot for starting your Mysore practice in the morning (6.00, 6.30, 7.00, 7.30 or 8.00). We do the opening chant at about 6.45.
All course registrations are binding. We do not offer any refund paybacks, but should you fall ill your Yoga Credits are stored for 5 months in-house for future use.
